Fire Ants Dominate Clinton College in Straight Sets

USC Sumter Volleyball delivered a commanding performance at home Wednesday evening, sweeping Clinton College in straight sets (25-13, 25-13, 25-9) to secure a decisive victory.
The Fire Ants came out firing, hitting an impressive .636 in the opening set and never looked back. The team maintained control throughout the match, showcasing sharp execution, aggressive serving, and disciplined defense.
Isabella Cocke led the offensive charge with 14 kills and a .407 hitting percentage, while Lyla Young added 4 kills and a team-high 6 service aces. Magdalena Borysewicz contributed 5 kills and a block, and Julia Hurd anchored the back row with 17 digs and 4 aces.
USC Sumter's serving game was especially dominant, racking up 18 aces and keeping Clinton College off balance throughout the match. The Fire Ants also held Clinton to zero kills and a .000 hitting percentage, a testament to their defensive pressure and court coverage.
